Chalet in the mountains - Room 2

This is historical, although renovated and charming mountain chalet in the heart of Šumava mountains. We have two independent rooms with on-suite bathrooms available. You can start hiking directly from the cottage to explore wild nature or sites. The chalet was originally built around 1780 and several times reconstructed and totally renovated few years ago. It contains two independent rooms with own bathrooms and join dining room and independent entrance doors from the street. We live in the top floor of the house. Come to the heart of the mountains right at the edge of one of the most wilderness National Park in Europe. On request we can also pick you up at the airport in Prague (additional costs 1400 CZK). This listing is only for 1 room. To book both rooms, please see also our second listing. There is access Wi-Fi and internet, storage for bicycles, outdoor and indoor toys for kids. We also offer creative workshops on Tiffany glass making, clothes and papers stamps and other creative inspirations. We absolutely respect your privacy. And when you are interested we are happy to provide tips on hiking, historical site seeing and historical gold mining from local creeks and rivers with historical equipment and traditional methods. We can also drive you to the park and back from your hike or cycling trip. We love kids and dogs. We can also offer babysitting on request and additional charge. The town of Kašperské Hory is the historical town protected by the castle from 14th century surrounded by spectacular nature and hundreds of historic sites. In the charming town (5 minutes walking) are restaurants, shops, museums and the castle. The gate to the national park is just 3 km away from our door. But you can start hiking straight from our doors on hills with breathtaking views. The accommodation is about 2 hours drive from Prague. Our accommodation is reachable by public transportation (buses). However, if you plan to come by bus or train (about 15 KM away), let us know and we can arrange for pick-up at the station or bus stop.
