The town Saffron Walden is a beautiful, historic town with plenty to see and do for all ages. There is a local market that takes place every Tuesday and Saturday where you will find a variation of local food and gifts. There are several tourist attractions to visit all within walking or driving distance of my house. The town is within walking distance, however there are regular buses that run to other local towns such as Thaxted, Cambridge and Bishops Stortford.
