Whitley Bay - 3 bedroom house near the beach

This spacious and comfortable south-facing house has a light and airy feel in a peaceful location. There is off-street parking for two cars and a beautiful secluded garden to the rear. Just minutes from the sandy beach near the iconic lighthouse at St. Mary's Island, there are plenty of activities for outdoor lovers of all ages on your doorstep. Guests have access to broadband WiFi, Technics HiFi, FreeView TV with catch-up services like BBC iPlayer, as well as Amazon Prime video and Disney Plus. As your hosts, we want you to enjoy your time in our house. We leave a house book with details of how to use the facilities as well as some suggestions for local things to do and places to eat. You can message us if you have any questions and we provide emergency phone contact details. Whitley Bay is a seaside town famed for the Spanish City and St. Mary's Lighthouse. There are plenty of activities nearby: enjoy the wide sandy beaches, play golf, visit the Aquarium or swim at Waves, a leisure pool with a slide and wave machine. There's also an ice rink in town! Learn to surf at one of the local hire spots, or enjoy the thriving bar and restaurant scene. Further afield, there's Hadrian's Wall and the beautiful Northumberland National Park with its mountains, valleys, wildlife and waterfalls. The local hopper bus stops at the front door every 30 minutes and takes you to the local Metro station and the centre of Whitley Bay. The driver will let you know when to alight if you ask them. The Metro runs every 10-15 minutes into the centre of Newcastle and on to the Airport. Busses to Seaton Sluice and Blyth or Newcastle can be caught on the nearby Coast Road. There are several very reasonable taxi services in the town too.
