Brandnew guestrooms in an old school ,that we have turned into a modern monastic communityhouse with some accommodation for pilgrims and other travelers , that love to meet other people, to grow spiritually. There are two private rooms, a spacous shared kitchen/living and two separate bathrooms for the guests We live in our own classroom , so you don't have to share your space with us. Garden and hallway are shared . Close to innercity It is in a quiet residential area. Simple but cosy room in spacious building. If you are with more peolpe you can also rent another room. In the diningroom are a sofabed and bunkbeds for children or unexpected guests If you are with more people you can also rent room B You have acces to the kitchen/livingroom you share with the other guests . There are two private rooms for 2 persons each . You can also use our creative prayerroom and the hall with glass doors to the garden Beside that there are two bunkbeds and a sofa in the living for the occasional pilgrim knockkin on our door If you want to stay here with a bigger company for a contemplative retreat or a familymeeting and use the whole guestfacility for a weekend Please send us a message Our garden is still in progress , but next to our house is beautiful park with a pond , very suitable for a picknick ! when we are home we like to offer a cop of coffee or a meal . Also we somtimes make a fire in the garden. We have a prayer room with music instruments so we can also sing or meditate together if you like these things Our house is very near the historic inner city with many restaurants , café s , museums and shops. Our favourite : Leeuwarden Lounge , Fries Museum , You can enjoy Leeuwarden from the water : electric boats from greenjoy or transparant canoes fromLeeuwarden stadsstrand or tours with praamvaarten In the next street t Vliet you can find a turkish supermarket , a cat café , a fitnessplace for ladies , a snackbar and several take aways. The football-stadion is also near . There is a shopping centre with supermarkets Aldi , Lidl , jumbo , drugstores etc Leeuwarden centre is good to discover on foot . It is a beautiful walk along the canals of ca 15 minutes from the station to our place . If you have a lot of luggage let us know and If we have time we an pick you up There are several busses that can take you to stopping place Bote van Bolswertstraat . Then its just a 2 minute walk During your stay you can borrow simple bikes . You can give a gift for our jabixhusactivities in return It is a guesthouse , so we do not rent out for periods longer than 14 days to keep the place dynamic . It is in a residential area , so please be kind to the neighbours
