Spacious Surrey Hills Garden Annexe

Set in the attractive village of Wonersh, just ten minutes from the heart of historic Guildford and forty minutes by train to Waterloo. This lovely Garden Annexe provides a quiet, spacious and really comfortable place to stay. The accommodation is entirely private with its own entrance but adjoining the main house. Onsite parking available. Guests will be welcomed on arrival (time dependant) and are welcome to use the family garden. Sorry no pets and strictly no smoking on this property. The Garden Annexe has its own separate entrance with a lock box incase of late check in. Although adjoining the main house, it is completely private. It includes a large airy bedroom with wardrobe space, a comfy chair and a view onto the lovely garden. There is a small 1950's kitchen which is fully equipped (with modern appliances!) with everything you need for a short stay, including an electric oven, a small fridge/freezer and a kettle and toaster. A DIY breakfast will be provided as well as tea, coffee and juice. Please message with any dietary requirements. The bathroom has underfloor heating and a heated towel rail for your comfort and a lovely shower area. The sitting room has a large comfy sofa, a TV and DVD player and has a small dining table and chairs which can also be used as desk space. The external door leads out onto the garden. The Annexe is centrally heated with additional electric radiators for the cooler winter evenings. There is free wifi available. We ask you not to smoke anywhere on our property. Guests are welcome to use the garden, but family members may also be doing so. Your privacy and comfort is our priority and we will endeavour to be available by phone at all times if we are not directly available. Less than two minutes walk from the fabulous Grantley Arms Pub with its full range of local beers and wines and excellent menu. The village shop (with post office), chemist and bus stop are also a two minute walk. You are ideally situated to explore local walks and cycling in the renowned Surrey Hills (there is a safe bike storage area if necessary). This is an ideal base to explore/ visit the local villages including Bramley which is home to St. Catherine's School, two cafes, two pubs and a variety of local shops. Also nearby are Shalford, Shamley Green, Cranleigh and Godalming, all with their own charming character, lovely cafes and restaurants. Guildford is a ten minute drive away. It has a fabulous selection of shops and restaurants, as well as the University and Guildford School of Acting. Guildford station offers a fast service (37 minutes) into London Waterloo. There is a bus stop two minutes walk away which serves Cranleigh and Horsham in one direction and Bramley and Guildford in the other. Wonersh is located in the heart of the Surrey Hills and is a perfect place to explore the local walking and cycling routes. We are a 45 minute drive from London Gatwick Airport, London Heathrow Airport and an hour and a half from Luton and Stanstead Airports.
