Family farmhouse in Galesu

Welcoming family house located south of Carpathian Mountains waits for guests! Here You'll have the opportunity to explore the hills, mountains and country life. We also have a little familly farm, a diverse one as we have cows, pigs, chickens, sheeps. You can also take part in the daily life work of our family, milking the cow, gathering the grass, season fruits or even preparing traditional chesse from own milk. For those interested we can also prepare meals from our bio products. Guest will have access to our kitchen, bathroom, terrace, garden. I wont be available in person as I live in Bucharest, weekends I ll sometimes be there. Rest of the time my family will interact with the guests. Galesu is a special village where the traditions are still kept alive and where the people live in a sort of serene communion with nature. Here are preserved almost 300 types of plants and even a protected fish called "asprete" - Romanichthys valsanicola, one species of fish that dates back in the prehistoric period and can be found just here. Not only the village offers plenty of things to do as walks in the forest, checking the local traditions "live" and also through the local museum, but also the region is very rich in opportunities. In the proximity, the village Corbi has a XIV century monastery, that is thought to have been dacian temple in the early times. At a hill trip distance, one can reach Robaia Monatery, a serene and peaceful place in the middle of the forest. Moreover from Galesu people can drive through the most spectacular road of Romania, Transfagarasan, that "climbs" up to more than 2000 m altitude. All in all here you can discover real rural life of Romania and the untouched nature, we are waiting for you to explore it. Quiet hours are between 00:00am and 06:30am(no loud parties, or other noisy activities on the terrace, garden or rooms). Thanks for understanting!
