VILLA BLEFOUTI - BLEFOUTI BEACH

Blefouti is a lovely sand and shingle bay protected by a deselled island lying at the northern end of Leros. An absolutely fabulous spot for those wishing to escape the crowds! This beautifull Villa, next to the sea, in an estate of four acres with a private church and an olive grove which is over 100 years old. It has a wonderful panoramic view and provides a sense of absolute silence. The house itself is set well back from the bay surrounded by its own grounds with garden, olive grove and even has its own private chapel. The upstairs apartment which is accesible by steps, has its own entrance door from the large outside terrace into a lovely, comfortable sitting room, well furnished with dining table, seatings, an orimental fireplace and a great view of the sea. Homely fully equipped kitchen/dinner (with shelves, units, sink, fridge, oven) and three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with four beds, each with wardrobe and bedside tables .The apartment has two attractive, tiled bathrooms with shower, basin and toilet. Outside the apartment there's a large front terrace which provides the most lovely views across the bay and countryside. The sea view is spectacular ! An ideal place to read, relax and enjoy all fresco meals! The villa is three minutes away from the beach by foot. Next to the villa, down the beach you can find a small fish-tavern where fresh fish is served daily. Our villa is a perfectly safe place for families with children, because it’s surrounded by an estate of four hectares, filled with olive and almond trees, where your children can feel free and play games in a natural environment. In the estate there is a private chapel, where special weddings can be organized or even a baptism and last but not least, it has enough parking space for everyone ! a representative will be at your disposal 24/7 Apart from a few other villas, there's a little taverna with delicious greek traditional food where fresh fish is served daily. There are herds of goats, there is little here except from peace and quiet. The villa is only 3 minutes waiking distanse from the beautifull Blefouti beach! As Blefouti is remote, we advise car, scooter or bicycle hire We can arrange Pick-up and Drop-ff from and to any ferry port or airport if desired (extra charges apply). We can arrange a rental car, scooter, quad or bicycle. Please inform us 2 weeks prior to your check in due to availablity Our Villa is located in the northern part of Leros, in an area called Blefouti, only a kilometer away from the airport. In front of it, lies a beautiful and quiet bay. At the entrance of the bay, you can find a small desert island, called Stroggyli. The island is located in the Dodecanese Islands between Patmos, Lipsi and Kalymnos, where someone can go daily in about 15 to 30 minutes via local ferry's. Our friend Captain Manolis with his traditional wooden boat (called trehantiri), can take you to wonderful nearby islands (Aspronisia, Arki, Tiganakia, Chalavropa, Marathi) with emerald waters and traditional taverns. Excursions are organized by other tourist boats also. During the trip, Captain Manolis offers local delicacies, ouzo or raki and fruit. It ‘s an experience you shouldn’t miss!!!Leros is a beautiful and fully organized island with its central port Lakki, which is the second largest natural harbor of the mediterranean. Lakki was built by Italians, who produced beautiful homes and buildings, major roads, hospital, two marinas and is only 15 minutes away from our villa by car. The second smaller port of Leros is Agia Marina, with its fabulous old neoclassical houses, archaeological museum and nightlife. Next to Agia Marina, you can find Alinta, the main beach of the island with cafes and restaurants that mainly operate during the day. Five minutes away by car from Alinta, there is Dio Liskaria, which is another beautiful beach with beautiful waters where you can enjoy the sea while having a nice drink and grabbing something to eat from the bar located there.
