Muntjac Lodge, a cabin in heart of Chorleywood
A hidden jewel in the unbelievable rural setting of Chorleywood Common. Muntjac Lodge is the perfect place for a peaceful getaway, commuting for work or just a change of scenery. The little village of Chorleywood offers all amenities, and the Common offers a beautiful walking spot. Small to medium dogs are welcomed (a £50 pet deposit will be requested, we hope you understand) Children under 3 are also welcomed, however we cannot provide a cot or bedding. Muntjac Lodge is a rustic property comprising double bedroom, compact kitchen, shower room and cosy living space with a stove. There is a compact kitchen with a small fridge, combi oven/microwave and 2 ring electric hob. The cabin has its own small terrace and garden area to the front, in addition to woodland to the rear of the site and the Common over the road. You will have full access to the property and private garden. Landlord lives in the property which owns the land, so you may see them out and about, however your space is private and they will only be available if needed. Chorleywood is a semi rural village just off the M25. Beautiful views, lots of grassland. The common is also home to a 9 hole gold course, the oldest in Hertfordshire. Neighbours are sparse so the area is very quiet and private. 5 minutes from the M25 (though you wouldn't know it), a 25 minute scenic walk or 5 minute drive to the station (metropolitan line) and 40 minutes into London this is a great central spot for everything you may need.
