It has a population of 22,500 and is known for Kenilworth Castle and Kenilworth Abbey, monuments whose ruins are popular tourist attractions. A field called Parliament Piece is where Henry III and his officials assembled while his troops attacked the castle. The cottage is walking distance from 20 coffee shops and restaurants. From medieval fortress to Elizabethan palace, Kenilworth Castle has been at the centre of England's affairs for much of its 900-year history. Today, you can marvel at the mighty Norman keep and imagine the majesty of the Great Hall playing host to medieval monarchs. Walk in the footsteps of the great Tudor queen as you explore the immaculate garden and picture the opulence and splendour of Elizabethan Kenilworth. Stratford-upon-Avon, a medieval market town in England’s West Midlands, is the 16th-century birthplace of William Shakespeare. Possibly the most famous writer in the English language, Shakespeare is known for his sonnets and plays such as 'Romeo and Juliet' and 'Hamlet' Warwick is a town on the River Avon, in England’s West Midlands region. It’s known for the medieval Warwick Castle, founded by William the Conqueror. The Collegiate Church of St. Mary has a tower with city views and a Norman crypt.
