The Cottage at The Dene - With Goodwood Healthclub

We have now completed a major renovation of the cottage and are taking bookings. The cottage combines chic luxury with a country touch, and provides a private location close to the amenities of Roman Chichester, Arundel with its impressive castle and quaint shops, and the facilities of the Goodwood estate. The Cottage at The Dene sits within the 4 acre grounds of The Dene, a three hundred year old house. Guests are welcome to enjoy the grounds and have use of the new tennis court. The cottage has a vaulted living area with a large sofa that converts to a double sofa bed. There is a 43" smart TV, free wi-fi and two USB charging points. There is a fully equipped kitchen with hob, fan oven, microwave, fridge with small freezer and extractor. The bedroom has a king sized bed with a luxury mattress and a 32" smart TV, and the en suite contains a good-sized shower, dehumidifying mirror and heated towel rail. We can provide a cot and highchair for our very young guests if needed. Externally there is a large patio area for the exclusive use of guests (BBQ facilities available), and a further 4 acres in which to wander. Guests are welcome to use all of the grounds of the Dene. We recognise that for some guests their support of guide dog is vital to their visit and we look forward to welcoming yours. The Dene is situated five miles from Roman Chichester, the county town of West Sussex. Fifteen minutes to the east lies Arundel with its impressive castle and picturesque high street. The world famous Goodwood estate is less than ten minutes away, making the Cottage at The Dene an ideal base for Goodwood events such as The Festival of Speed, the Revival meeting and Glorious Goodwood. In addition West Sussex and the surrounding locality have numerous attractions: West Wittering Beach, The Portsmouth Historic Dockyard (HMS Victory), The Weald and Downland Museum and The Roman Palace to name just a few.
