We have included a well equipped family bathroom (with a shower, sink and toilet), a kitchenette (with small refrigerator, induction hob and microwave), a full sized double bed and two single day beds making this a real family holiday home. An Oak table with stools pulls out to provide an eating space for 4 people. There is storage under the beds for clothes and suitcases and a hanging clothes rail is in the cupboard under the TV. Built from sustainable timber with energy efficient materials such as sheep's wool insulation (floor, walls, roof) and A rated windows, the Roulotte is warm even in the winter months. A heated towel rail and an electric wood burner provide the main source of heating. Access is through a shared electric gate. A shared gravel driveway leads up to the caravan where you will find parking for several cars and an outdoor area next to the caravan. The wider grounds can also be used but are shared with others. I am available to answer any questions you may have about the caravan or the local area. You can contact me on my mobile at any time. There’s so much to do and see in the area, from walking, cycling or horse riding along the South Downs Way, exploring the Sussex Heritage Coast, visiting sleepy villages and historic market towns, to experiencing opera at the world famous Glyndebourne. We are about a mile away from the South Downs Way and the famous Jack and Jill Windmills. The friendly village of Hassocks is a 15 minute walk away and offers excellent facilities including a selection of shops, a supermarket and several restaurants, pubs and cafes. Then cosmopolitan seaside city of Brighton & Hove is only 7 miles away and easily accessible by train from Hassocks mainline station, only a 12 minute walk away. Hassocks mainline station is only a 12 minute walk away with trains direct to London in 55 minutes and Brighton in 11 minutes. There is a bus stop outside from which buses travel directly into Brighton. There is an outdoor storeroom and wood store about 10m away from the caravan which is accessed by others. There is a road 30m away. The shower is typical of those found in many caravans and boats - it is limited in size and not at the level of a power shower that you would find inside your own home. As detailed in the description above, the wood burner is electric and not a real wood burner. The caravan shares a site with 5 holiday lodges - on Mondays and Fridays, the cleaning team are on site and will use the shared parking area. On Mondays OR Fridays from Spring to late Autumn, the gardening team are on site and may be mowing, strimming and/or hedge cutting. There will be some associated noise but it does keep the grounds looking lovely.
