This lovely family home comprises the ground floor of a spacious Edwardian house. It has 2 open fireplaces and leafy, expansive views. Colourful and eclectically decorated, it is quiet, peaceful and feels far from the madding crowd. It is a mere 1 hour down the A3 from London and 5 minutes from Haslemere and Grayshott. Direct access to National Trust land with many walking and mountain biking routes, the South Downs and beach are a stone's throw away. The surrounding area is country pub heaven. The space is extremely comfortable. There are quiet spaces where one can spend time with a book while children can enjoy our children's lego etc. This is our family home which we leave as is for you to enjoy its homeliness. Please note that a dog lives in the house usually. The parking area is about 40m from the house. The path leading to it is down a slope and there are some stairs. There is so much to do in the vicinity: from sporting activities, to pubs galore, to shopping in Guildford or the beach at West Wittering or Climping. The guests have access to the entire ground floor house and its expansive garden. There is also a stylish cabin in the garden which can sleep 2 extra guests for an additional cost. There may be other Airbnb guests in the cabin if not rented by you. We may be around; otherwise always contactable via mobile to answer any questions. Local tips and suggestions will be provided. The neighbourhood is rural, leafy and quiet yet within easy access of many amenities, activities and attractions. The A3 is within easy access if one arrives by car. Haslemere train station is a 7-minute taxi ride away. There is also a bus stop at the entrance to the property. Our neighbours live in the upstairs part of the house and guests will have no access to their space. Quiet is required from 10pm onwards.
