Grand Edwardian Country House in the Surrey Hills

Situated on a hill in the picturesque Surrey Hills, the house has breathtaking view. It's the perfect spot for nature, biking and hiking lovers. Built c. 1906, the house has a lot of architectural character and has been beautifully decorated in an English country house style. The house is semi detached with 6 large bedrooms & 2 large living rooms, 2 kitchens, a dining hall and a feature staircase, a stunning garden, an outdoor tennis court, a pond and pond house. Sorry but no large parties! As big as it is our house is actually semi-detached, we have the original grand part of the house, including stunning mature gardens and most beautiful views of the Surrey Hills. House is semi detached so we are respectful to our neighbours. You are welcome to use our parking and enjoy our gardens. We also have an outdoor tennis court you can use. We use the main house every weekend so happy to answer any questions! A guide book of the area with recommended walks and places to visit will be available in the living room. Surrey Hills is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) so plenty of opportunities for walks, biking and sightseeing. Our village, Ewhurst, is known as rock star village with Eric Clapton's house visible from our hill. Also 10min form Ewhurst is an idyllic old fashioned village - Shere, and in Forest Green you can find a local farm shop and the newly renovated country pub, The Parrot. Car is recommended to get around. Good walking shoes and clothing.
