The Little Barn at Roache House Farm

The Little Barn is a self contained holiday cottage within the grounds of Roache House Farm. It is right at The Roaches in Upper Hulme, Staffordshire and within the Peak District National Park surrounded by wonderful, green countryside and directly on a public footpath. Perfect for exploring the countryside. The LittleBarn is a cosy, little cottage with a log burner, tv with all modern apps and a fully equipped kitchen. Every window provides a view of the green countryside and spectacular views. Other guests may rent the cottage across the courtyard, called Lakeview Cottage, also on air bnb. You can conveniently park right outside the main farm house near the LittleBarn. Guests have their own outside patio area with chairs and outdoor coffee table to view the green hills and get up close to the farm animals grazing nearby. The LittleBarn sits on a public footpath leading both up to The Roaches or down to Tittesworth Reservoir. There is wifi internet is excellent to work from home and 4G is perfect on devices so normal roaming internet on phones etc is available. There is a smart tv with free view channels, Netflix and Amazon video and a radio. The Little Barn is located on a public footpath linking The Roaches, Luds Church, Doxey Pool and Tittesworth Reservoir with access to the whole of the Peak District National Park. Guests can use their own outside patio area. There is children’s play area and lawn nearby. Welcome to Roache House Farm. The Little Barn is located in our garden, overlooking the beautiful, green surrounding fields with farm animals grazing. It over looks Tittesworth Reservoir and is at the foothills of the Roaches. We are sometimes around but you can ask us any questions by phone or text at any time. We will leave guests to their own devices but will be delighted to help you out in any way. You will have your own private entertaining patio, which is private, secluded and overlooking fields. The cottage is just below the main entrance to the spectacular Roaches, famous for its dramatic scenery that provides unlimited climbing and walking opportunities. The cottage is nestled on the hills below The Roaches, over looking Tittesworth Reservoir. There are two pubs nearby- The Lazy Trout in Meerbrook or Ye Old Rock Inn, in Upper Hulme. Upper Hulme is a hamlet off the A53 between the towns Leek and Buxton. It is best to drive, walk or cycle. There is free wifi and 4G also works perfectly.
