The White House in Parikkala

The White House is a small self-contained cottage right next to Parikkala Church, in a quiet and peaceful location yet just a 20 min lakeside walk from the mainline railway station and the shops in the village centre. Suitable for 2 adults and 2 small children (sofa bed), the White House has all modern fittings and plenty of space outdoors. The White House is at the back of our garden which guests share with the owners, their three loud but friendly dogs, two cats and free-ranging chicken. Unfortunately the White House does not have wheelchair access. The White House is adjacent to our own home and we’re always here to meet our guests in person. There are three public swimming beaches within easy walking distance of the White House -- and plenty more within a short drive. We’re just a couple of hundred metres from the lake where our small rowing boat is available free of charge.
