The bedroom has a kingsize divan bed with a comfy sprung mattress, and plenty of wardrobe space. The apartment has a modern shower room with extra large walk in shower. There is a locked rear courtyard, (open air) if you would like to bring bicycles. The apartment is completely self contained with it's own front door. We live close by and my father lives in the adjacent property. We are generally available anytime, and are more than happy to offer any local knowledge. We aim to meet you on arrival when possible, but we will also send you details for the key box before you arrive if necessary. The Wifi code can be found in the apartment. Felixstowe's Edwardian heyday has left a legacy of many fine houses. The apartment was once part of a small private school in one such building. All newly redeveloped, the renovation was completed in October 2018. The town has some lovely independent shops and cafes as well as Tesco just a couple of minutes away. It also has a new pier development with a splendid restaurant and bar. In fact we are spoilt with many bars and restaurants within easy walking of the apartment. Felixstowe can also boast four Martello Towers, and a 18th century Fort with museum. You also have the opportunity to explore further afield with fine walks in either direction along the prom. Go North to Felixstowe Ferry, a quaint hamlet with a pub, cafe and foot ferry to Bawdsey Manor, the home of the development of Radar. South along the prom takes you to the viewpoint cafe, where you can watch the biggest container ships in the world being loaded and unloaded. Here you will also find the foot ferry to Harwich. If you are a park runner, the Felixstowe park run (prom run) is just 3 minutes away, 1 minute if you run!! The 77 bus from Ipswich stops practically outside the apartment, and the train station to Ipswich is a 10 minute walk through the town.
