Suite T&T - Lower Level with Private Entrance

You have access to the lower level of our clean & simply decorated home which includes living area, kitchenette (island with 5 stools, full size frig, sink, microwave, coffee maker, hot plate, toaster, 2qt crock pot and sm. pizza oven), full bathroom (shower- no tub) and bedroom (queen bed). Negotiation of stairs is required to access lower level private entrance at the back of the house (see below for details on stairs). We live on the main level. -Living area has a sofa, 2 recliners, TV (sorry no cable), Apple TV, dvd player, ping pong table, tread mill, and hand weights. If you have a larger party, the ping pong table can be folded up or moved aside and queen murphy bed drops down to accommodate extra guests in this area. A twin mattress on the floor can accommodate another guest as well. -Patio area is protected from rain and has a gas grill, table, furniture and insect curtain in the warmer months. -Yard games available as well. -Free wifi available STARIS: At the end of the pathway around the side of the house there are three 5" high platform stairs, followed by a small flat deck area and then 8 standard stairs with railing on both sides (depending on your size it may be a stretch to reach both railings at the same time). In the winter, we will do our best to keep the stairs and pathway clear but if Mother Nature is exceptionally cruel and they become treacherous or if guests are staying during a snow event, we can provide access to the guest area via the main entrance of our home. We will be happy to help you with what you need during your stay. We live upstairs and can be as involved or as scarce as you wish. We do have a friendly dog, Razz. He will bark to announce your arrival but as soon as you raise your hand and talk to him he will roll over and submit like a baby. Our subdivision is a single quiet cul-de-sac road off a county highway with each home having an acre or more of land. Walking to the end of the road and back is a little under a mile and provides a couple of gradual inclines. For a longer walk you would have to be on the county highway (no sidewalk) for approximately a 1/3 mile to get to a larger subdivision. The county highway is generally only busy during morning and evening commute times. -Our home is in a somewhat rural setting so all shopping and attractions are driving distance. - 23 min from Alpine Valley (17 miles) - For mapping purposes we are near the intersection of Hwy I and Sugden Rd in Mukwonago. *SHARED SPACE: Our laundry, deep freeze and work/tool room are on the lower level as well. If you are staying with us for more than 3 or 4 days we would likely need to access these areas which would mean walking through the guest space. We would be in communication with guests to arrange a time that provides the least amount of disruption. *CLEANING PROTOCOL- All bed pillows have a zippered protector in addition to the pillow case. Throw pillows in living area are covered with a clean pillowcase (not as pretty, but an extra layer of protection). After each guest leaves all towels, sheets, pillowcases, pillow protectors and throws are laundered. Bathroom is cleaned and sanitized. All faucet handles, doorknobs, light switches, remotes, window cranks and cabinet pulls are also sanitized. Rugs and floors are vacuumed and kitchen area is mopped.
