Beautiful spacious village home

Our beautiful home is situated within a small village approximately 1.5 miles from Durham city centre. Just a 5 minute drive or a leisurely 30 minute walk along the river. You’ll love our place because of the peaceful atmosphere, enjoyable country walks, and the spacious accommodation. Our home is perfect for an idylic stay in the English countryside, with easy and quick access to the historic city of Durham. We are excited to host you, and hope you’ll love our home as much as we do! Both bedrooms have king size beds. There is a en-suite shower room in one bedroom and a separate private bathroom for your use with the second bedroom. Guests will also have access to the whole house as well as the garden for sunny days. Both my husband and I will be available during your stay for any help that is required. We are a short distance from Durham City centre (1.5 miles). To get into town there is a lovely walk by the river. Also there is one pub (serving lunch and evening meals) in the village and one Indian restaurant as ahort walk away as well as a garden centre with cafe. There is plenty of parking in the village and there is a nearby bus stop with a regular service into the city centre. The university main site is just a short walk from the house. The city centre can also be easily reached on foot along the road or via a riverside walk. This is our home which we rent out when we are not around so some of it has our belongings in it. The bedrooms for your use are: - bedroom with en-suite at end of hall. - bedroom directly opposite stairs. The middle bedroom and small office at top of stairs are private and not for use.
