There is a spar and small PnP. Port Shepstone and Shelly Beach are a better bet if you are looking for some retail therapy. The Jolly Roger, a small pup and restaurant is also in Hibberdene Folly Fields nursery is behind Umzumbe and has a lovely coffee shop (breakfast and lunch)- open Monday to Friday 8am-4pm and Saturdays to 12pm. Umzumbe has a fantastic yoga studio that have daily yoga classes. Surf lessons can also be arranged. The South Coast has plenty of beautiful golf course. Oribi gorge is a great day trip and provides plenty of entertainment for the more adventurous. There are no metered taxis or Uber in Hibberdene. Bring your own beach towels. The closest shops are at Hibberdene, about 5 km’s away.
