Natural Park Dwingelderveld is just around the corner. 1200 hectare of heather, moorland and forest, great hikes and cycling trails. One of the few Natural parks open to free horse riding. The village Ruinen has nice restaurants and here you can do your grocery shopping. Close to the prehistoric 'hunebedden' or dolmen site and museum. By car it is 25minutes drive to Groningen. Beautiful medevial capitol of the north of Holland. Guestinformation: the villa is located on a private park named Lanka. There is a reception for all your questions. There is also the possibility for bicyclehire. The caretaker will provide the keys and WIFI-code. Here you can rent towels and sheets. Price for 1-pers. 7,50 - euro, 2-pers. 8,50- euro Towelset 7,00 euro. All guests are required to garantee peace, privacy and quiet. Which means that the neighbours do not hear the sound of television or music from one another. This makes our house a beautiful place for resting and relaxing. All the houses on Lanka are accesible by car only on mondays and fridays. Other days cars are parked at the reception and a buggy is available for your luggage. So no trafficnoise either! Dogs and cats are allowed but only one each. More dogs or cats: please inform us and we will try to get permission from the caretaker of Lanka.
