You can relax in the private gardens or Cook some local food in our fully stocked kitchen You can access the property from the front door or through the rear of the house via the back door. We have a spare car park space to the Side off the cottage for off road parking. I am away a few nights a week so guests can have space but I’m on hand if they need advice on the area or ideas on things to do. Silsoe is close to the town of Flitwick Woburn Shefford and Ampthill and 12 miles from Bedford and Luton We have many good restaurants in the local area and farm shops and a coop supermarket close in Clophill, The main line railway station at Flitwick 6 miles west of Silsoe will get you into London in 40mins arriving at kings Cross or Arsley station going into London in 35mins You can use the local Luton to Bedford Bus that goes through the village every hour. By car you can get anywhere as we are just off the A6 10 minutes from the M1 and A1 We have a stately home in the village called Wrest Park there are many Functions concerts and open days during the year and you can visit any day of the week free with an English Heritage pass Their is a Cafe on site and playground for children, the gardens are magnificent. On St George’s day Wrest Park holds a two day festival the largest in the U.K The grounds have hosted bands like Status Quo.
