Spaceous house in centre of Oudenaarde, close to railwaystation and main roads. Guests have their private bathroom en suite plus a semi-open place to rest, as well as a sunny terrace with lovely view. Breakfast included. Bike(s) can be safely stored in garage. Garden hose for cleaning bikes, pump and tools are available. Car parking in front of the house. Guests seem to love our house as much as we do. It is light and spaceous: a garden and terraces to enjoy the summerdays, a wood stove for winter evenings. The kitchen has a 6 jet gas stove, an extra fridge available for you and a place to store your stock. Besides your own bedroom and private bathroom, there is a mezzanine for you to stay at with free possibilities to make yourself a coffee or tea. An extra fridge is available and we love to share our kitchen for cooking. It would'nt be the first time we discover a new ingredient or recipe... Our house is in a safe area, 15 minutes walking to the town centre and the railway station. A local pond with running track aside is at walking distance. A lovely fresh start of the day much appreciated by some of our guests. Only two km from the river Scheld, an ideal start for a cycling tour or hike. Shops, bakery and caterer meals at walking distance. Or you can prepare your own meals in our kitchen. History and culture in Bruges, Lille, Brussels, Ghent, Antwerp: only about 1 hour driving away...trains take about 1.30h...
