There are 2 great pubs within 5 minutes walk and lots of other walks straight from the door. The cottage has off road parking so you can leave your car and set off on bicycle or foot along the Monsal Trail also 5 mins walk away. We have a secure bike shed where you can store your bicycles. Self contained cottage and outdoor seating The owners are usually on hand to deal with any problems. We live on the edge of a small village in a beautiful part of the country. The village of Little Longstone boasts a telephone box and an excellent pub 'The Packhorse'. People come from far and wide to taste the delicious food and very quenchable Thornbridge beers. The Thursday night fun quiz is the highlight of the week and its always best to book a table. The cottage is situated in a small rural village where public transport is limited. Visitors come to the area for its wonderful walks and cycle trails. There is one shower room with a toilet and washbasin. This site will give an automatic discount of 5% for a 4 night booking. The cottage is self catering and there is a fully equipped kitchen. We will however provide basic condiments and leave some cake (usually homemade) or fruit for guests to enjoy.
