World famous Dunnottar castle is a 5 minute drive away as is Stonehaven town centre and harbour where you will find an array of local shops, restaurants, pubs and many leisure facilities including paddle boarding, sea safari, outdoor swimming pool, golf course and tennis courts. Stonehaven harbour is a beautiful place to sit and watch the world go by while enjoying a coffee or a locally brewed pint. Guests have the whole house and surrounding outside space to themselves. Taxis are readily available also. There is a train station in Stonehaven should you wish to travel further afield during your stay and there are buses which will take you to neighbouring towns and villages
