We are committed to providing a safe sanitised space for our guests. Our cozy self contained cottage is in a desirable eco-friendly secure estate with a country feel. The doorway opens onto pool patio. Close to the M13 & N3 highways, a 25 min drive into Durban and 40 min to P'maritzburg. Very well situated for events - Duzi, Amashova, Comrades, Kearsney College, Curro, Cotswold Downs, Inanda Dam, Shongweni Polo Club. King Shaka airport is under an hour away (60kms). Our 1 Bedroom Cottage is within a secure estate, attractive to many. Because of this we have restrictions that apply. We require to verify your identity to confirm your booking. Please read the rules. The cottage has an open plan lounge and kitchenette, with breakfast bar. Double doors open onto a private use patio with dining area, facing onto a shared pool. Seperate shower room with toilet, or use the pool shower if you would rather (hot and cold). A small sofa bed is also available. We provide tea, coffee and basic breakfast provisions. We have friendly dogs who roam the garden and will come visit. You have an allocated parking space and a pathway leads you to your cottage. You have access to the swimming pool, outside shower and and the pool loungers. You have your own private outside dining and seating are on your patio. Cooking facilities include a gas braai, microwave and hob. Large screen television has a complete DSTV bouquet, wifi broadband Internet. Washing machine and dryer facilities are available on request. The garden has a wealth of bird and other wild life and you are welcome to explore and relax. Sundowners by our pond below the house, are a great way to relax! The pond is accessible via a gate and a set of steps to the left of your cottage We live and work on the same premises, so we will be available should you need anything, but we are a busy couple and tend not to socialise with guests. We understand the needs of the international traveller and are happy to provide advice and information. Our cottage is in the Upper Highway area, 25 minutes inland from Durban and 40 minutes from Pietermaritzburg. A central location for supporting a number of sporting events; the Comrades Marathon, Kearsney Easter Rugby, Amashova cycling event, The Duzi and International Polo Cross at Shongweni. Local to Shopping Centres, Pinetown Business District and also to Hillcrest Private Hospital. Hillcrest has an active restaurant scene which caters for a range of tastes. Uber is available in the area and is rapidly improving. We use it ourselves. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Not really suitable for families, and certainly not for young children as we have an uncovered pool and pond, sorry. We also have friendly dogs who roam free and will come visit.
