Hastings Retreat The Dairy Barn with Fishing Lake

"The Dairy" is a 2 bedroomed barn conversion sitting in a recently converted rural complex nestled in 76 acres of open fields and woodland with a 3 acre private fishing lake, right at the Heart of the National Forest. Just a few minutes drive from the historic town of Ashby de la Zouch with lots of boutique shops, bars and restaurants. Adjacent to Hicks lodge Cycle Centre and the many surrounding walks. A beautiful rural escape with everything you need for a truly memorable holiday. The Dairy is tastefully furnished to a high standard, incorporating a twin bedroom, double bedroom, and bathroom on the first floor. Downstairs there is a shower room, Living room and dining kitchen. There is a sofa bed in the lounge that can sleep 2 people if needed. The Barn forms part of the North East side of a courtyard that has been converted to 4 holiday lets. The house is rented as the entire space. Guests also have use of our 3 acre lake for fishing, and sun bathing. Swimming in the lake is entirely at your own risk. We are hand to answer any questions that you may have, although we like to give you your own space and freedom to enjoy Hastings Retreat as much as we do. We are entirely powered by a 250kw wind turbine making us 100% carbon neutral. All properties are finished to a high standard with under floor heating to keep you cosy in the cooler months. A car is recommended for access to the larger shops and to best explore our surrounding area and what it has to offer. Closest village pub 1.3 miles to walk to.
