Located in the centre of Bladon & just a 2 minute walk from one of the many gates into Blenheim Palace Park making it the perfect location when visiting Blenheim Palace and the many events taking place year round. Also ideally located for guests looking to visit the Cotswolds, the city of Oxford & Oxford Airport, Weddings in the local area & Soho Farmhouse (20min) The stylish Cotswold inspired apartment is ideal for a couple or solo traveller looking to explore the local area. The bedroom has a Super King size bed and built in wardrobes. The bathroom has a shower over bath. The open plan living-dining room is the perfect space to chill out after a day exploring or working. The dining table sits 4 people. The living area has a Smart TV from which guests are able to access Netflix & Youtube etc The kitchen if fully equipped and also has a Nespresso Coffee Machine. There is a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The apartment is spacious and light throughout. There is a courtyard area for guest use, we provide a bistro table and chairs. Parking - there is parking for one car at the rear of the property. There are also Visitor spaces. The property is ideal for those using the Oxford London Airport for training or flights. Guests have use of the whole apartment. Once a booking is confirmed I will send you details relating to your check in. I am on hand throughout guests stay and provide an emergency out of hour's telephone number for your peace of mind. I like to give our guests space to enjoy their stay, but I am on hand and available when needed. Bookings over 10 days will receive a complimentary weekly linen change carried out by our housekeeping team, I will inform you of the scheduled day that this will take place. An additional housekeeping service can be arranged upon request. Bladon is a charming village on the edge of the Cotswolds, 10 miles north of Oxford. Perhaps most famous for being the village in which Sir Winston Churchill is buried, Bladon is perfectly placed to explore the delights of Woodstock & Oxford as well as the surrounding Cotswold countryside. The village pub (The White House) is just a 1 minute walk from our property. The beautiful town of Woodstock is close by (a 5 minute drive or a 30 minute walk through Blenheim Park) with an abundance of pubs, restaurants and local shops. There is a post office, Co-op convenience store, cash point, and doctors and dentists should the need arise. Bladon & Woodstock are home to Blenheim Palace, an UNESCO World Heritage site. Every year there are a wealth of events taking place including, Salon Privé, International Horse Trials, Nocturne Live, Blenheim Place Triathlon, Battle of the Proms Concert, Giffords Circus, Food Festivals, Christmas Fair & Illuminated Light trail and much more. The apartment is the perfect base for those working and attending the events. (to access the Palace/Events and it’s private grounds you will need to purchase tickets). Soho Farmhouse is a 20 minute drive from the village. London Oxford Airport is just a 10 minute drive from the apartment. For those taking courses, working or travelling to and from the airport you will find the apartment the perfect base whilst being close to amenities, eateries and fantastic bus routes. The Cotswolds is also on our doorstep. Take a tour out to the beautiful towns and villages, including Burford, Stow on the Wold, Chipping Camden, Broadway and many more.
