Stunning Lakeside, Year-Round Berkshire Getaway

Our cozy, spacious lakeside cabin is perfect for a year-round upstate getaway with friends and family. The house is nestled on a private road and down a hill with stunning lake and mountain views. 20 minute drive from skiing in Catamount, 30 minutes to Hudson or Great Barrington if you're looking for a classic Berkshire town. Our four bedroom home can fit a large group or family without feeling cramped! Each bedroom is spacious and comfortable. We have added a desk with comfortable desk chair in one of the bedrooms to accommodate those who are working or learning remotely. The downstairs has two different rooms for gathering with a gas fireplace, big couches and plenty of seating. A full dining area can seat ~10 people for a big family meal. Fully functioning kitchen (+a grill outside) with pretty much anything you could need to make meals to feed your group. The outdoor patios overlook the lake and provide a ton of space for gathering and enjoying the lake and outdoors. The entire home + outdoor areas including our two lakeside patios, dock, canoe, two kayaks and floats for the lake. We likely won't be in the area during your stay but are very available to help! This is a sleepy, low-key lakeside community. It's about half and half full time residents and seasonal/weekend home owners. We're close to a ton of options for outdoorsy activities like hiking, biking, running, swimming. Also plenty of other Berkshire towns with Farm Stands, casual and tasty restaurants and family-friendly activities. You can park your car at our home. If you have friends coming up, they can take the Amtrak to Hudson (about 25 minute drive West) or the Metro North to Wassaic (about 30 minute drive South). But you'll need a car to explore all that the Berkshires have to offer. We have strong wifi for those needing to work or learn remotely.
