Bizzyberry Lodge is a luxury modern log cabin, complete with hot tub set in it's own private woodland garden with stunning views of Tinto Hill and surrounding countryside. Here guests can enjoy the privacy of a peaceful get away, but have the convenience of being located just 1 mile from the traditional Scottish market town of Biggar, only 1 hour to Edinburgh and Stirling and just 40 minutes to the heart of the Scottish Borders. Sorry but no pets at this property. The exceptional newly completed (2020) stand alone cabin has its own private entrance with parking for 3 cars. A fabulous large south facing garden and huge decking area complete with hot tub, BBQ and garden furniture. To reduce our carbon footprint, the cabin is powered and heated entirely by renewable energy in the form or our own small wind turbine and ground source heat pump which comes from under the fields behind the cabin. For guests with mobility issues, 1 of our beautiful bedrooms is located on the ground floor complete with en-suite wet room. Guests will be welcomed personally on arrival and we are available to contact at all times during your stay, being located not far away on the neighbouring small farm. Step out of your garden, and head up through the woods which takes you to the top of Bizzyberry Hill, where you can sit and take in the beautiful rural countryside and overlook the town of Biggar, which is a thriving traditional Scottish market town with a good selection of small shops and amenities along with some really good eateries, from quality coffee at the local Deli or coffee shop to really good bar food in either of the towns' Pubs, or our small local restaurant which serves traditional Scottish fayre. We even have a Chinese Take Away(that delivers!) a good fish and chip/fresh pizza shop and an Indian Restaurant(that delivers too!) Situated 1 mile from Biggar ( just a 15 minute walk or a couple of minutes in the car ). The cabin is also just 1 hour to Edinburgh, Stirling and Glasgow, and less than 1 hour to the heart of the beautiful Scottish Borders. Please note we only accept bookings for 5 night minimum stays. Check in being Fridays only except for Christmas/New Year period.
