Welcome! You are currently looking at our two room Apartement (sleep up to 4) with Community Bathroom. All rooms include TV, Internet, Refrigerator and Bedding, (Towels and Washcloth will not be provided), fully equipped Kitchen and Washer. Community Bathroom will be cleaned on a weekly basis. Private parking place, back porch with barbeque and fitness room are included. Centrally located along the A24. Only 20 minutes to the center of downtown Hamburg. Our fitness room is available to everyone. Kasseburg is located in Schleswig-Holstein, in the southwest area of Herzogtum Lauenburg, in a scenic location along the northern edge from the Sachsenwald, which is the biggest continues Forrest in Schleswig-Holstein. The original center of town is surrounded by new separate Housing areas. Over the last 50 years Kasseburg has changed from a town with mainly farming to a town that is used for living only. By car: The Autobahn A24 can be reached by exit Schwarzenbek/Grand just 2 minutes from Kasseburg. The A24 connects Hamburg and Berlin. We also have the B404 close by, which goes north to Kiel and further. House Rules: Rooms When moving into your room, we will provide you with a room key and a house key. If lost, we will charge you EUR 20,00. On the day of arrival, the rooms will be available to you starting at 18:00 pm. On the day of departure, you are required to clear your room between 7:00 am and 11:00 am. Pillows and Blankets are provided in each room and are included in the price of the room. There is no smoking aloud inside the entire house. Please use the containers outside provided for this purpose. Smoke detectors are installed in every room, as required in Germany and for your own safety. These have been tested for Function before you have moved to the room. If you manipulate this, we will withhold your deposit. The heating unit is not to be turned higher than level 3. On the day of departure, the beds are to be stripped and all garbage should be removed to the garbage cans. Bigger garbage bags are available under the sink in the kitchen when needed. When departing, the room will be checked and the keys will be returned to the owner or person in charge. You are required to pay for your room in advance each month. The price of each room is EUR 200,00. Bathroom Please do not dispose of any articles of Hygiene or other such articles in the toilet. In every bathroom we have provided you with trashcans for just such a purpose. For environmental reason we would like to ask you and appreciate it, if you could reserve on the water consumption. Also please keep the bathroom clean for the next person in line, and also flush the toilet with each visit. When necessary please use the toilet brush. Guest Kitchen We would like to ask you to wash any used dishes and to return them to the appropriate kitchen cabinet. Any other messes should be cleaned up out of consideration to the other guests. Any food or drink that have been brought in can be stored in the provided Refrigerators. We do not take any responsibility for any food left behind. Please don’t try and dispose of garbage, left over foods or things of that nature in the sinks, showers or toilet. This also includes Coffee grounds!!! They belong in the Bio-Garbage can. Garbage cans are to be found in the kitchen. Garbage cans for Bio-, left over garbage and paper garbage can be found in the parking lot of the property. You are also required to dispose of Glass and Bottles yourself. The containers for this purpose can be found in the center of town, on the road called “Am Brink”. If necessary you are welcome to use the washing machine, which you will be able to find in the kitchen of the house. The owner is not responsible for any valuables belonging to the guest. Please be careful with all equipment left in your care and please don’t leave any clothes behind in the washing machine when departing. When leaving the kitchen, it is your responsibility to turn off all lights when nobody else is in the room. It is not allowed to turn up the heating unit higher than level 3. Sleeping hours, Order & Security Starting at 10pm Sleeping hours will start for all rooms, hallways and the exterior of the building. Any noise, for example making music, listening to music, partying, including TV or Radio reception above room volume, also slamming of doors, is prohibited. Not abiding to these rules, can lead to immediate removal from the property. We are expecting Respect toward all guests, other local residents and our staff. It is not permitted to lean out of windows, sit on windowsills, throwing of personal or other items from the window, or yelling and screaming from all windows. The entrance is to be kept locked during day- or nighttime hours and can only be entered with your personal keys at all times. For your safety all public areas are being video recorded. Usage of rental rooms The rooms are only allowed to be used as living quarters. Any changes on and in these rooms is not permitted. Further you are required to clean, air out and heat your space properly. This also includes all common areas. Any person not renting a room from us, first needs to get permission to enter any room. Further we will have an extra charge for usage of water and electricity, which will come to EUR 3,00 per day. We can refuse entry to anyone if we deem so necessary. You are further required to report any and all damages to the rooms, on and in the building, the building itself or the property surrounding it as soon as noticed or occurring. Animals / Pets Animals / Pets are to be checked in with us and are not allowed to reside in any of the common areas. If major damages or cleaning is required upon your departure, your deposit will not be returned to you. Usage of the Terrace Please feel free to use the Terrace attached to the building. Open fires are not allowed as per fire regulations Alcohol, Smoking, Illegal Substances & Weapons Smoking of any kind is not permitted in any parts of the building. If you brake this rule, there will be an extra charge of EUR 250,00. Same applies to the changing or manipulating of fire alarms. We reserve the right to increase the charge, if the fire department has to be called for damages caused from fire or smoking and for which we receive a bill. It is strongly forbidden to bring in any illegal drugs and / or Weapons and if found will conclude with the immediate removal of your person from the property. We will also immediately inform the local authorities. In an Emergency The fire alarm is a very loud beeping buzzer. When you hear this sound, you are no longer allowed to go to your room and you are required to leave the building as soon and as fast as you can. The emergency exits are marked accordingly. The meeting place in such a situation is either in front or behind the building. When such an alarm occurs, you are to notify the fire department immediately. The call number is as followed: 112 Deposit For negligence and/or intentional damages caused to the Inventory, and major uncleanliness, the guest carries the financial Burdon. We reserve the right to charge you, the guest a deposit upon arrival and/or during your stay, in the amount of EUR 200,00 per bed, which will be returned upon departure if there were no damages and/or uncleanliness found when checking out. If the cost is higher than the deposit for fixing damages and/or cleaning that is required, the cost will be passed on to you, the guest and will be required to be paid right then and there or a bill will be send to you for costs, for example, Fire Department and/or emergency services are required and further charges occur. This also includes damages/uncleanliness that will be found after a guest’s departure. Other Bigger Damages and/or breaking of rules, and/or misconduct towards the personal, can lead to the immediate removal from the property. Any repayment of deposits will be refused at that point. Conditions for the Usage of W-LAN Internet on our Property / Usage Agreement Usage is excepted through entering a code. This code will only be given out to guests who agree to the following Usage Agreement and follow up with their signature at the end of this contract. There will be no further charge for the usage during your stay on our property. But with that in mind, we cannot guarantee the reliability of the internet at all times. No giving out the code to third parties at any time is allowed. By giving out this code, we are not responsible in any way. The use is made in accordance with the technical possibilities. In particular, the user has no right to use the internet in any certain way or to use it for any certain amount of time. Hereby, any liability especially for warranty and damages, (with the exception of intent and/or to harm somebody), is excluded. In particular, no liability will be taken for the content of visited websites or downloaded files. In addition, no liability will be taken by us for any possible infection of internet viruses by using our Guest-LAN. The user takes explicit note, that the internet only allows access to the internet, but excludes any virus protection or firewall. The opening of pages with illegal content and the distribution of illegal or legally protected content are prohibited. The user is expressly forbidden to use the Internet to download or misuse copyright-protected content in particular. Any misuse of the Internet, in particular any misuse which entails third party or adverse legal consequences, is prohibited. Should you, the user, be exposed to third party claims through the use of the Internet for any reason, you, the user, are obliged to hold us harmless and indemnify us in this regard. If you are suspected of any violation towards these terms, the use of the internet can be blocked at any time and/or without reasons stated by us. Liability for any data loss is expressly excluded. With your confirmation you accept our house rules.
