One bedroomed private annexe with ensuite

Rose Cottage provides a self-contained ground floor annexe, with its own private entrance. Included are freshly baked cakes on arrival, plus tea/coffee facilities and continental breakfast . It is situated on a quiet, private road with off street parking: 5 minutes by car to the train station, 30 minutes to Goodwood House, golf and race circuit, and 15 minutes to the South Downs and polo at Cowdray Park. Several wedding venues nearby include Ramster Hall, Lythe Hill Hotel and Park House. The bedroom and shower room are light and airy and have underfloor heating. The bed has an additional super-support mattress topper, with fully-cotton bedding. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion are provided, together with a hairdryer. There is a clothes hanging rail and chest of drawers for storage and a comfy chair with reading light. Should guests wish to take breakfast in the room, there is a small table with chairs which can also double as a laptop work surface. Guests will have their own back door key into the annexe and are usually invited into the main kitchen in the mornings, if they wish to do so. Due to COVID-19 precautions I will provide breakfast on a tray to have in the privacy of their room. In the summer, there is a small outdoor table with chairs for guests to enjoy the garden in the sunshine. Guests booking for longer than three nights will have a fresh change of linen and towels midway through their stay. Cleaning of the bedroom and bathroom will be arranged at the guests' convenience. Right on the edge of the South Downs National Park, the house is in a very quiet location with just the sound of the birds in the garden and the stream across the road. It is, however, only 5 minutes by car to the centre of Haslemere, including the station. The A3 for either the M25 going north, or Portsmouth going south, is about 10 minutes by car at the Hindhead tunnel junction. There are plenty of pubs, cafes and international restaurants close by, of which there are further details in the Guest Information book. Haslemere Community Hospital has a minor injuries unit. Haslemere station is 5 minutes away by car with either paying parking at the station or side street parking. There are 2-3 trains an hour to Waterloo with the fast trains taking approx 50 minutes. The service also goes south to Portsmouth for the ferries. There are also local bus services including those to Aldershot, Chichester, Farnham, Godalming, Guildford and Midhurst. I love baking and will provide freshly baked cakes on arrival, and a comprehensive continental breakfast. A kettle and a selection of teas and coffee are supplied in the room, with fresh milk and a litre of filtered drinking water. There is also a small fridge. Please advise beforehand if there are dairy/gluten allergies.
