Independent annexe

The annexe provides self contained, private accommodation for the occupant. It has its own front door, hallway, two bedrooms/bathrooms, and a lounge room with sofa, temporary kitchenette and small dining table (for two people). The accommodation is most ideal for one or two people working or attending training away from home, or visiting family/friends locally. A booking for 2 is based on sharing one of the bedrooms. If both bedrooms are required for 2 singles, please book for 3 people. The annexe is attached to the host’s home via a locked door. It is spacious and comfortable, fitted out and maintained with care. A totally private space just for the occupant. The two bedrooms each have their own bathroom, one is en-suite, the other is just outside the bedroom door. If you specifically want a bath, please let us know at the time of booking so we get the correct bedroom ready for you. The kitchenette is temporary and suitable only for hot drinks, basic food preparation and microwave cooking. There is a microwave, full size under counter fridge with small icebox, kettle and toaster. Host is happy to do laundry if you are staying for more than one week. Ironing board and iron provided. Private allocated parking space. Large TV in every room, desk in one of the bedrooms, also small dining table with two dining chairs in lounge. If you specifically want the bedroom with a desk, please let us know at the time of booking. Prior to Covid-19 the occupants of the annexe bedrooms shared the family’s kitchen/utility in the main house. Own front door entering into private hallway off which all your rooms are located. We are available to help and offer advice, as required. But we’ll leave you to yourselves unless you need us. A village between East Grinstead, Crawley and Haywards Heath. On the edge of the Ashdown Forest (Winnie the Pooh) with amazing views, yet very easy reach of Gatwick Airport (15-20minutes max) via variety of routes. Grocery shop/post office, beauty/hair salon in village, along with a couple of pub/restaurants one of which is very well respected, The Cat Inn. Also in village there are tennis courts, bowling green, recreation space, cricket pitch/pavilion, football pitches, running groups, exercise classes, WI etc etc. We are on a bus route to Crawley and East Grinstead but recommend a car is essential
