Ringmer, Lewes, 2 minutes from Glyndebourne!

Quiet and comfortable ground floor en suite private room . The room is at the back of the house and away from any traffic noise so you can have a peaceful night's sleep, even though our house is situated on the main road in the heart of Ringmer . We are ideally situated for Lewes (3 miles away); the South Downs and Brighton. We are also only 2 minutes drive away from the world famous Glyndebourne Opera House. We enjoy hosting and like to help our guests feel at home and enjoy their stay! Your bedroom is downstairs at the back of our house overlooking the decking and garden. It is a quiet peaceful, private room. The bed is comfortable. There is a TV, and tea and coffee making facilities. The en-suite is modern and has a walk-in shower, toilet and sink. Your breakfast will be served in our conservatory, or in the garden if you prefer when the weather is nice! We will be here to help you and suggest places to visit. Ringmer is a big, friendly village with local shops, pubs where you can get a meal. There are plenty of local walks and cycle rides the door step. It is an ideal place to stay to explore our lovely local area, whether you want to walk on the downs or visit lively Lewes, fashionable Brighton, or go to the opera at Glyndebourne. There are often local food and arts festivals in nearby villages and towns, and the famous Lewes Bonfire takes place every November 5th! If you travel by car, you can park on our drive. Access from the A27 is quick and easy. If you are going to Glyndebourne, the opera house is a two minute drive from our house. The nearest station is Lewes with direct trains to London Victoria, Brighton and beyond. You can get the bus to Lewes or direct to Brighton from the bus stop just down the road from our house. There is also a cycle path to Lewes which is also safe to walk along. We have a friendly dog who will enjoy being stroked and fussed over! WiFi is available. You will have your own key.
