Newly renovated apartment „U Gothic twin“with an area of 37 square meters with historic vaulted ceiling is located in the very quiet historical centre of Litoměřice in the basement of the house. This late Gothic house has a double gable, and on the first floor there is a unique, large renaissance log room. The building was repaired in 1984 and is located in the courtyard. Nowadays, there is a newly opened gallery, which belongs into the administration of the North Bohemian Gallery of Arts in Litoměřice. The apartment itself is located on the ground floor of the house, originally as an outbuilding of the Gothic Twin. The first mention dates back to the 16th century and the construction of this house can be dated to the 60.-70. of the 16.th century. The construction of the ground floor and the extension of the residential floor dates back to the period after the Thirty Years' War. After complete reconstruction in 2018 it is now newly renovated Access to the apartment is from Jesuitská Street No. 12/4 via the passage to the inner courtyard where is main building Gothic Twin. Apartment itself is located in the south/west side of the main building. In the neighbourhood are the unique Gothic fortification system called “parkány“(ramparts) (50m) , central square, churches, historic houses, Gothic castle, one of the most extensive cellar systems in the Czech Republic, Domsky Hill with the Cathedral, theatre, gallery, museum, parks and „Elbe island “with a quiet zone and a summer swimming pool.
