Situated in an area of AONB, this wonderful new annexe is the perfect place to stay. We are in the heart of the Cotswolds with many walks, cycle routes, pubs, beautiful towns & picturesque villages nearby. The annexe is a cosy & comfortable place to stay, boasting a king size bed, lovely shower, wood burner, seating area & kitchenette. We are so close to many beautiful villages & towns with Churchill and Kingham just down the road. The annexe is an ideal place to come & explore the Cotswolds. The annexe is in a private location in the countryside near Chipping Norton and Churchill. It is the perfect place to come and explore the area. There’s an open plan kitchen and sitting room with a brand new wood burner for those chilly days. Logs are £5 a bag, kindling is free. We also have central heating so the annexe is always lovely & warm. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, toaster & cooker. There is a TV, no satellite or aerial yet but a good selection of DVDs. WiFi is available. There’s a separate bedroom which boasts a comfortable king sized bed with a memory foam mattress & the bedroom has lovely countryside views. There’s also a new bathroom with a lovely shower. Fresh milk, a variety of teas, coffee & biscuits will be provided. We have free range hens in our garden & eggs can be purchased on site, along with organic homemade rhubarb jam. There’s a private courtyard outside the annexe which has a bbq & seating area. The beautiful villages of Churchill and Kingham are just down the road. Stow on the Wold, Moreton on the Marsh & Bourton on the Water & The Tews are all under 15 minutes away. The towns of Oxford and Cheltenham are in easy reach. Kingham has a train station which can take you to Oxford and beyond. There is free, private parking outside the annex. There is enough space for 2 cars. A car is recommended to get around but there are lots of places to cycle, with cycle hire available from Chipping Norton. We can provide bike storage in our shed. You can also access some walking routes from our house, however during peak season a car is recommended to get to the nearest footpaths as the roads can get busy. We don’t have a key box outside yet but we have the annexe left open for your arrival so you can let yourselves in. We live in the main house and around and about if you need us. Please bear in mind I have 3 little girls so I wont always be able to answer a question straight away, but I will do my best to help as soon as possible. Chipping Norton is 2 minutes away, Stow on the Wold, Moreton on the Marsh & The Tews are 10 minutes away. Bourton on the Water, Burford & Blenheim Palace are in easy reach and many more stunning Cotswold places. The beautiful villages of Kingham and Churchill are just down the road. Cornwell Estate, Sarsden & The Great Rollright Stones are nearby, along with Daylsford Organic, Soho Farmhouse and Diddly Squat Farm Shop. Oxford and Cheltenham ( Cheltenham Races) are easily accessible. We are ideally located for The Big Feastival, Wilderness Festival, Cornbury Festival being just 10 minutes away. A car is recommended to get around, however the area is also popular with cyclists. Cycle hire is available from Chipping Norton. There are a couple of walking routes from the house but please be aware in peak times the roads can get busy. There’s also bus & train links. Kingham is our nearest train station 3 miles away, which serves Paddington and Oxford. There are taxi services based in Chipping Norton. Please ask for further information for getting out & about. There are a range of supermarkets and amenities in the nearby town of Chipping Norton. For keen walkers it’s about a 30 minute walk into Chipping Norton, a short cycle or 2 minute car journey. If you’re arriving late or don’t want to get back in the car, we recommend bringing provisions in advance of arriving. The train station is 5 minutes away in Kingham. There are also taxi services locally too. We have opened the annexe up to well behaved dogs ( we have children & animals in & around the main house) for an extra £20 for one dog & £30 for two dogs. N.B. Please no dogs on the bed or sofa. For those arriving late, I can provide a breakfast hamper for the next day for £15. Please let me know in advance so I can get it ready. Children - there’s space for a travel cot, however it’s not practical for children or toddlers. It would be best suited to babes in arms. We live in the main house near the annex so we are always on call if anyone has any questions.
