The Hut on the Hill A rural retreat in the heart of the High Peak. Sharing the Alpaca field, 'The Hut On The Hill' is enviously positioned looking out over one of the best views in the High Peak. Light the Lantern and the Indian Fire Pit with wood collected from the adjacent woodland. Enjoy the warmth from the fire as you watch the stars. Later snuggle up warm inside with the wood burner and read a book or simply enjoy the silence, free from WiFi and the burdens of modern life. The Hut on the Hill is a cosy, romantic get away in the Peak District National Park. Offering a kitchenette with a fridge, kettle and toaster. A fully functioning shower room. A living area with a wood burning stove. A full sized double bed and an outside seating area with fire pit looking out over the hills. The Hut on the Hill is in the grounds of Rushop Hall where we live and offer bed & breakfast. You can usually find us at the house or in the on-site cafe where you are welcome to book in for breakfast should you wish. The Peak District National Park is famed for its beautiful landscape and outdoor activities. Castleton and Buxton are popular local towns with pubs, bars and restaurants in close proximity. Chatsworth House is just a short drive away with plenty of offerings. Chapel-En-Le-Frith, Edale and Chinley are all local train stations providing routes to Manchester and Sheffield but we would advise pre-arranging a lift if you do not want to walk the four miles!
