Deceptively spacious 2 bed cottage over 3 floors. In small village 5 mins drive above Bakewell (40 -45 min walk). Amazing views (especially from dining conservatory) and great hiking right from your doorstep. Fantastic pub serving good food 100m away so no need to cook if u don't fancy!. Dog friendly. Whole cottage with small enclosed rear garden with super views. Parking is on street in front of cottage right by front door. Parking is not exclusive for us but is vacant 95% of time. Otherwise u can park very closeby I am not nearby but have a very helpful managing agent and maintenance man closeby Small hamlet with local pub (Lathkil Hotel - a hikers favourite) being main hub (weekly quiz night and regular special events). Village hall opposite has brand new play area and runs regular table tennis and film nights. All are welcome. No shops but bakewell v closeby. Very occasional busses run but u really. Need a car or taxi to reach Bakewell town. It takes 45 mins to walk (all downhill) to town. It takes 1hr (all uphill) to walk back Parking info is detailed under "the Space" This is most comfortable for 1-5 people. If 6 people book then EITHER 4 pax use bedroom 2 (using trundle bed + bunks) OR 2 pax use double sofabed in living room.
