Close to the center of Town

I offer simple accommodation in a bachelor apartment. A simply furnished bedroom with a double bed. The living room, the bathroom and the kitchen are shared. The room has about 12m². There are two more rooms in the apartment, which are also rented. It is an attic apartment (2nd floor) with about 68 m² living space in a house from the year 1910. In the former chambers on the street side the servants used to live. I have converted the former attic to a 2 2/2 room apartment. It has a spacious bathroom with shower and bath, and a separate toilet installed. The bathroom and the toilet have underfloor heating. The character of the former loft has been preserved in part by retaining old components. So the roof beams are visible in the living room, bathroom and in the hallway. Two old room doors are still in the old place and the floors are original. That between the simple wooden floorboards are sometimes clear cracks. All this gives the apartment a loft-like touch. The kitchen is very spacious, but very simply furnished. From the kitchen and from the living room one comes to the 16m ² roof terrace, which unfortunately still not finished and therefore can be used only very limited. The apartment is not finished yet, i. There are still things that need to be done everywhere. Baseboards are missing, the kitchen is only partially finished, the porch is not painted yet and the doors have to be painted. My girlfriend says: Here is nothing ready. My son says: Everything is there that you need and everything works. Stop a bachelor apartment! My guests are allowed to use the bedroom (a part of the wardrobe), the living room, the kitchen, the bathroom and the toilet. The two small rooms are partly rented and therefore can not be used. The easiest way to reach me is by phone, Whats App, Airbnb, ... When I'm in the country I can give a personal briefing to the apartment, otherwise the key is deposited in one place (key safe) and you can pick it up there. The apartment is located in the middle of Elmshorn. Slightly across the street is the Stadttheater, a few meters further on there is a REWE Markt, which is open until 23:00. A few steps away there is a very good but affordable restaurant (Margarethenklause). The pedestrian area is only a few minutes walk. Getting to Elmshorn is no problem by train or car. The train station is within walking distance (about 15min) or by bus. The bus stop is about 100m away. An ideal jumping-off point to explore Hamburg, the train leaves from Elmshorn in about 30 minutes to the main train station, or in about 25 minutes to the train station Altona. Ideal for guests is a day ticket from the HVV. I recommend using the HVV app. This helps you to find the fastest connection to your destination anywhere in Hamburg and the surrounding area. Arriving by plane to Hamburg and then by train to Elmshorn is no problem. The journey takes about 1.5 hours from door to door. By car, it is outside the rush hours in half the time. Arriving by car is not a problem. The backyard of the house is narrow, but can be used as a parking lot. Do not park on the street (limited stop is also checked at night!) The apartment is still not completely finished. The porch and the staircase are still quite run down. The roof terrace has no floor (wooden deck). In the neighborhood is a yeast factory. The smell of the yeast factory can be annoying in certain weather conditions, if you have opened the windows.
