Our farmhouse has very ancient origins. For its particular almost ascetic beauty, for the panorama and the easily accessible position, the Priori Fathers of the Servants of Santa Maria of the convent of Città della Pieve chose it, probably, as a country residence, where to retire to pray and meditate. Information has been found in the historical archives since 1700, when the farm was part of the municipality of Fighine, a castle not far away and which can still be visited today. Today you can still breathe its presence, you can see the chapel they built, the avenue of secular cypresses planted by the monks and, in one of the apartments there are still the original ports with the numbers of the rooms in which the Fathers rested. Spazzavento enjoys a favorable position. Probably the most charming room in the house is the bathroom created in an old oven, with vaulted ceilings and exposed stone walls.
