Situated in the heart of the Kent countryside, this historic barn has been modernised but yet still retains it's unique character and charm. The Hop Barn is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life where you can enjoy walks through the nearby orchards or simply sit on the patio and listen to the sound of nature. For those wanting to explore, the barn is conveniently located nearby to renowned gardens, castles, stately homes, forests, quaint villages and historic towns. The Hop Barn features a light and airy living space with a cosy ensuite double bedroom perfect for a weekend away in the Kent countryside. Providing a fully equipped kitchen, sitting and dining area it has all the amenities you need for a break away. We also have a shepherds hut available which is situated in the paddock if you would like to stay with friends or family. Appliances include a hob, oven, fridge/freezer, kettle with tea and coffee making facilities, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and Kitchenaid mixer. Living area Cosy up on the comfy l-shaped sofa after a stroll through the orchards in the afternoon with a good book, spend a rainy day playing one of the board games provided or just simply relax with a cup of tea (or glass of wine!) Ensuite bedroom The orchard view bedroom has a double bed with an ensuite bathroom and has direct access onto the patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee. A breakfast hamper can be provided full of local produce for a supplement on request. We will be there to greet you on arrival and will be available to answer any questions you may have during your stay regarding the property or local attractions.
