The newly decorated studio is light & airy with a lovely modern ensuite - towels/toiletries provided. Conveniently located just minutes walk from Chelmsford's city centre & bus/train stations we are well suited for business, holiday or simply visits of friends/family. Off-street Parking is included! Other amenities also include Sky TV and Netflix. Our modern and well-presented home is ideal for all visitors to the city of Chelmsford. There aren't many listing for similar studio spaces in such close proximity to the city centre yet the listing boasts a spacious and cleanly decorated open plan layout. The space is our newly converted garage which has been transformed into a guest space which is adapted to a clinic room when not rented through airbnb. It has a small double bed which has a comfortable sprung mattress (please not if you are used to a very firm bed then you may find the mattress a bit soft). The property is ideally located within half a mile of Chelmsford Bus/Train Station which allows an effortless commute by train into London (just 30 minutes to Liverpool Street), Stansted Airport (30 minutes) or by bus to Anglia Ruskin University or Broomfield Hospital (5/10 minutes). We are only a short 5 minute walk from the station where there are bars, restaurants and an array of shops (including groceries from a CoOp, M&S or Tesco's Express). We also have off street parking if you are bringing a vehicle. Overall our property is ideally located in the centre of the highly sought after and rapidly developing city of Chelmsford with easy access by train directly into the heart of London. The studio has it own front door (with lock) which is accessed through the shared porch at the entrance to our property. We operate a simple self check in process for ease - when a reservation has been confirmed further details are available ahead of your arrival. We are an easygoing, young couple who are busy at work most days. We are very relaxed and want our guests to feel completely at home. We often work normal office hours so operate self check in which is easy for us and our guests. In reality we are often available to welcome our guests upon check in but whatever the case we should be available for any assistance or advice you may need during your stay either in person or via telephone. Location location location... Proximity to the city's transport links couldn't be more convenient. In addition the property is a stone's throw away from the city central park which leads into the city centre. Central park also has the pictureque 'Cake by the Lake' cafe to stop for a lovely coffee and cake in addition to; tennis and basketball courts, football pitches, table tennis tables, a brand new skate park and children's play areas. Walking distance from great shops and restaurants. The property is ideally located within half a mile of Chelmsford train/bus station allowing an effortless commute to London (just half an hour to Liverpool Street) as well as many other areas. If you are in Chelmsford for work at the hospital our house is in a great location to spend time in the heart of the city. Broomfield Hospital is less than 10 minutes drive down the road or you can easily get there by taking a direct bus from the bus station which is just a 5 minute walk away. Anglia Ruskin University is also very close to us. It is a 5 minute drive or 15-20 minute walk away. A bus straight from Chelmsford bus station to Stansted airport runs twice hourly and take 30 - 35 minutes. Off street parking is also available for those with cars. Overall the property is in a sought after location in the centre of a rapidly developing city and provides the perfect route into the heart of London. The studio is a converted garage - when not used for Airbnb the room is adapted for use as a clinic room. As the studio is a converted garage, water pipes are situated above the ceiling of the studio so from time to time you may hear water flowing through the pipes when we use the bathroom upstairs - although this is minimal noise and we keep activity to a minimum at night we just like guests to be aware of this prior to booking.
