Bumblebee, pet friendly apartment in New Mills

The apartment offers a comfortable, peaceful homely feel our guests enjoy. You'll find bees in the artworks and ornaments. New Mills has good links with Manchester and Sheffield, with New Mills Central train station just 5 minutes away. An ideal base for exploring the Peak District, visiting Lyme Park or just experiencing our lovely town. We also welcome dogs into Bumblebee which has an enclosed garden. The garden is a sun trap and now has a barbecue and a play house for your little ones. The Apartment is self-contained, has 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and fridge/freezer, a bathroom with shower over the bath and a large living/dining room. The bedrooms are normally set up as 2 king sized beds and 2 single beds, but the king sized beds can be split into 2 single beds to offer up to 6 single beds. Just let me know when you request a booking how you need the beds. It is warm, open and light. It has Freesat HDTV with sound bar, Netflix, a DVD player and free Wifi provided. You have an enclosed private garden. It has a children's play house, rockery, patio furniture and barbecue. It is on the first floor of a former pub, with access up a set of stone steps at the back of the building. There is a pay and display car park opposite (£2.60/day, free Sunday). When here the whole apartment is yours and you have the run of the garden. You walk past another apartment to get to your gate. I like to pop in and check you have everything you need soon after you arrive. After that, call if you need anything; I live less than 5 minutes away. The ground floor of the building houses Miller's Refillers, a zero waste shop that is open 7 days a week. Within 2 minutes you can get to at least 4 pubs, 5 if you walk quickly. There are also several take-aways within a short walk, or they deliver for free. Supermarket (Sainsbury's Local) is 1 minute away. Walks and bike rides in all directions. New Mills Central train station is 5 minutes away, New Mills Newtown train station is 15-20 minutes walk. New Mills bus station is less than 5 minutes away. There are a set of stone steps up to apartment, with a good solid hand rail, then one step into the apartment. There are three apartments on the first floor that together provide enough space for 19 people.
