Guest's will enjoy a large private guest room and private bathroom in our personal home where my partner Jay and I live with our friendly dog Riley. We love animals although at this time our dog is not comfortable with other dogs in the house. During covid we will not be sharing the kitchen although breakfast snacks, and coffee will be provided .Guest's will enjoy the living room, front porch, walking trails, outdoor fire pit complete with star gazing in the warmer months. Thank you. Our log cabin is an authentic hand built Vermont home with wood fires and a casual, cozy decor. We have a private master bedroom with bath for our personal use and a large private bedroom and bath for our guest's. The guest room is up stairs and the guest bathroom is downstairs. The stairs are steep but supplied with hand rails on both sides. Guest access includes a private room, a private bath, kitchen is closed during Covid, living room, outdoor areas, and walking trails. Always a warm welcome and an opportunity to ask questions about area attractions, recommendations for dining, types of hikes they like and where to find them. We listen carefully to guest's plans for their stay and do our best to support their requests. Good communication is key. Secluded and private yet located close to the village of Bristol, Vergennes, Middlebury and Burlington. Ideal location for enjoying local activities and getting away at the end of the day. Many choices for hiking, biking, shopping, wineries, galleries, museums, and farmer's markets. We are on the Addison County Transit Route and the village of Bristol is within biking distance. In winter months a good tire is needed for the incline to the cabin. The cabin is home to Ellen and partner Jay, and their dog Riley. Stairs are steep but hand rails are installed on both sides. A couple of groceries are fine due to space. In winter months a good winter tire is recommended. If guests wish to have a campfire please request it be prepared before dark. If guest's wish to have visitors it must be communicated and agreed upon. Additional over night guests are not allowed due to our town zoning laws.
