Dimosthenis beach house

Seaside house located an hour drive (60kms) from Heraklion airport to the south 1.5kms away from Tsoutsouros village . It is at the top of a headland at 25m above sea, separating two bays, with magnificent sea and mountain views of Crete' s south. Located in a family estate of around (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) square meters (1,5 hectare) the house is part of a complex of four houses built in two levels. Dimosthenis house is at the lower level and faces south east. (The house above is larger - 65sq.m. - and is also available for rent: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/21854157). The house covers 45 square meters and consists of a dinning / living room with fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom and a WC with shower. It has a large private terrace, a good part of which has a pergola (with reed). There is also an outdoor shower and a table with chairs. From below is a beautiful secluded sandy beach that is accessible only on foot and is scarcely visited by other people. From the house, the access to the beach is through a private stone built stairway. In case you do not like stairs there is always the 2km sandy beach of Tsoutsouros, which is accessible by car and offers umbrellas, sunbeds, coffee etc and shower. Guests can move freely in the estate except in the private area of each residence, which is however clearly delimited. I live in Heraklion but I 'll be with you in less than two hours time in case of a serious necessity. At the village of Tsoutsouros which is located around (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) m away from the house there are stores, grocery, mini market to buy the essentials. There are also a few lovely taverns, cafes and bars. The nearby village of Tsoutsouros is about one and a half kilometer away to the west. There is regular public transport available from Tsoutsouros to Arkalochori and Heraklion during the summer period. The most convenient way however to get here is with your own or a rented car.
