Holiday accommodation sleeping up to 16 guests, 98 Fountain Villas is a Grade 2 listed Georgian style house built in 1847 situated in the centre of the famous tourist town of Matlock Bath in the Derbyshire Dales on the edge of the Peak District and in the World Heritage Site of the Derwent Valley. The seven-bedroom, four-bathroom villa has free Wi-Fi and off road parking for 5 cars along with all the comforts of home over three floors.Sleeping up to 16 guests the villa is an ideal location for large families and friends to get together for a holiday or to celebrate a special occasion. We do not accept Stag or Hen parties. The house is well equipped and comfortably furnished to provide a relaxing base from which to explore the surrounding area. Situated on Matlock Baths promenade a selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs are a short stroll away. Opposite number 98 the Jubilee Bridge over the river Derwent links the promenade to the “Lovers Walk” along the riverside with children’s play areas and the historical park. In September and October during the Matlock Bath Illuminations the walk is illuminated along with a parade of decorated boats on the river at weekends and on Saturdays, a spectacular cliff top fireworks display. Further afield in the Derbyshire Dales & Peak District are a host of local attractions including the stately homes of Chatsworth House & Haddon Hall, along with miles of walks through the dales & peaks stunning countryside. Please note the house is three story and although there are outside seating areas to the front and in the rear courtyard at ground level. The patio area and rear garden can only be accessed from quite steep steps from the front of the house or a rear access from the second floor.
