A most charmingly decorated 92sqm ground level apartment of a beautiful house in the midst of a Mediterranean landscape, only 1,800m from some of the best swimming spots of the Attica riviera. The garden surroundings and sheltered barbecue area are lovingly curated by the family setting a landscape for relaxation & joy during your stay in the estate. A quiet and colorful retreat, yet so close to the main shopping & entertainment area of Palea Fokaia & to the amazing Temple of Poseidon in Sounio. The 2 bedrooms are equipped with one double bed each. In the living room the sofa turns easily into a bed that sleeps another 2. Both bedrooms have closets and access to the one bathroom of the apartment. In the living room guests have access to a through to through fireplace located in the middle of the room that includes the kitchen, dining area and lounge. The living room area is furnished and specially curated by the hosts with one of a kind antiques as lamp shades, dining table, rocking chair as well as a special pottery collection from the northern Aegean islands. Both inside the house as well as to the garden area guests can reside in a serene, tasteful Mediterranean setting. Guests have access to the spacious ground level garden area as featured in the pictures. All plants, flowers and trees are specially curated by the family. In addition, guests can use with prior notice the sheltered barbecue area and kiosk in the higher garden area. Outside the residence there is plenty of space for parking. The residence is located only 1800m from the main organized and hotel beaches of Palea Fokaia , and 3000m from the St Nicholas surf club and water sports center in Anavyssos bay: a facilities area very popular to water sports enthusiasts. Some of the best swimming spots are along the Riviera line from Palea Fokaia leisure and entertainment center to the monumental and must-see Temple of Poseidon in Sounio. Moreover, beach bars, hotel clubs are scattered along the line. Recreational and play areas for children are available in the center of Palea Fokaia. During the summer period many cultural and musical events are organized by the community of Palea Fokaia and the neighboring communities. Visitors of the area have access to a variety of eateries, taverns, cafeterias, bakeries, grocery stores, mini markets, and gelatterias. Although the beachfront, riviera, entertainment and shopping area is just a 25’ walk from the residence, a car is strongly recommended. Of course there is access to a taxi station in the centre of Palea Fokaia (1500m from the residence) as well as public transportation (KTEL, Bus Line). The residence is 40mins drive from Athens International Airport. Directions are provided upon request depending on the guest’s starting point: Athens centre or AIA.
