Gites Du Pont is a special place to stay and offers to visitors a peaceful and tranquil environment perfect for a relaxing holiday in the glorious Normandy countryside. Extensively renovated. Rustic French in character, modern amenities, hot tub, dishwasher, fridge freezer and log burner. We are only 30 mins from beaches. The region boasts Mont St Michel, a zoo, and the Normandy beaches and much more to explore. Very large private gardens, bbq, extensive childrens play area and pet friendly. The house is ideal for families and adult groups with several fields on the property to play and relax. We have viewing points across the valley. There are also beautiful walks and cycle rides direct from the property and fishing from our field with direct access to the river. The house is 7 mins drive from a thriving local town of Gavray for bakeries, shops and markets twice a week and walking distance (1km) to a bar and restaurant. Whole house, playground and field. We live in a seperate house on site and can assist you during your stay or leave you in peace as you prefer. We can assist in booking restaurants, visits and with advice on history of the area. Languages spoken: English, French, German and Spanish. We are in a special valley through which the river Sienne meanders. There are beautiful chemins walks that take you into the heart of the landscape. We are also lucky to have Le Krill, a vibrant bar and restaurant in the village that often has live music and cookingbon an open fire. We are in the countryside and you will need your own transport. However, for walkers and cyclists we can collect you from the ferry at Caen, Cherbourg or St Malo. There is a bar and restaurant in the village, Le Krill which also has music nights and events.
