Wellness villa near Groningen

Unique, large country villa with wellness facilities: a beautiful garden, private sauna, jacuzzi with a very powerful massage and a swimming pool. Excellent ambiance. Relax, enjoy the fireplace or the beautiful country side. Interior renovated in March 2021. It's a very popular place with all facilities just for yourself. Or for ourselves, when we don't have guests ;-). We aim to maintain a high standard: if you want to party, or if your budget is short, then this is NOT the place for you. Downstairs: Summer living room, with a sliding door to the porch This room also has satellite TV, Chromecast and a beamer The second, "Winter" living room, features a copper fireplace and board games Dining area, kitchen, sauna, toilet Private entrance, close to the gate Upstairs: 1 large master bedroom with 1 double bed, a relax area, a child cot and a mobile airco unit. 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (softer matrasses) 1 large, water side bedroom with 2 double beds 1 bathroom with shower, bath, toilet Garden: Jacuzzi (max 5 persons), heated all year. Various seats, beds and terraces in the large garden. And the pool, only being heated (eco-friendly) when the temperatures are high enough (above 10 at night and 20 during day, like in the Summer). All advertised facilities are available for you and your group. We may need to open the service door at the porch sometimes (to allow the cat in or out), but we fully respect your privacy. The 'back' garden (after the hedge, approximately 50 meters) is closed for guest access, unless you would like to wander through the fields. We live in the house next door, and are -nearly- always available to support. At the edge of the UNESCO Geopark and a National Park, close to fishing waters, you will find this country villa. You can wander through the fields and forest, in the direct surroundings, with a great variety in nature and animals. Or go sailing on the nearby Paterswoldsemeer! The attractive city of Groningen is less than 10 minutes by car. There is parking space for 2 cars. Please park on the most left and right side of the driveway, and keep the gate clear (as we usually park at the back). A busstop is near the house. No curtains in the Master Bed Room, but a stunning country view! (Situated on the West and it gets dark enough, here on the country side.) Some guests have indicated that the double double bed room can be a bit noisy (traffic). We installed triple glass on the street side.
