Quiet cottage close to Prestwold & Loughborough

This is a self-contained flat next to the main house. The location is at end of a farm track in quiet secluded hamlet - Burton Bandalls (on the B676, Loughborough Rd between Prestwold & Cotes). 5 min drive / 20 min walk to Prestwold Hall. 5 min drive to Loughborough Railway station. 10 min drive to Loughborough University. 10 min drive to Great Central Steam Railway. 25 mins to East Midlands airport, 30 mins to Leicester, 30 mins to Nottingham, 45 mins to NEC and 60 mins to Birmingham. This property has a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and kitchen / lounge. All on the ground floor. Entrance is separate from the main house, surrounded by farm land. Prestwold Hall close by. Situated at the end of a farm track with parking. Guests will have their own access to the flat. Facilities are not shared. Wi-Fi is available but if it is a priority the speed is NOT great and it is erratic. (however, Loughborough centre has free access). Small television provided (no smartbox / satelite channels). We live in the main house so will be on site but don't really intend to bother guests. We have a labrador dog and the peacock is a regular visitor. We are pleased that we can offer accommodation where dogs are welcome as we have a large enclosed paddock in which they can run around. (We do charge an extra £5.00) However, if they come indoors we ask that you keep them in the kennel provided as the flat is carpeted and this avoids extra cleaning. We are in a rural setting within a 5 minute drive of Loughborough. Closest villages are Cotes, Hoton, Burton-on-the Wolds and Barrow-Upon-Soar. Very convenient for Prestwold Hall and Stanford Hall. Loughborough train station is 5 mins away. Taxi from Loughborough in the evening is about £8. Buses go by at the end of the road about once an hour. We often have enquiries from people attending events at Prestwold Church and/or Prestwold Hall. On a nice day it is a pleasant 15 min walk, via footpaths, across two fields. By car it is a 5 min drive. We are located at the very end of a farm track. Our track is not a Tarmac road but is regularly used by cars, vans and occasionally trucks. We are 5 mins away from Loughborough train station.
