Reventazon River Mountain Lodge, inescapable PEACE is the number one attraction at the Lodge after driving up the new 4x4 main entry drive from the public road. With views overlooking Turrialba and across to the smoking Turrialba Volcano, this is an inspirational place. Three main cabins are featured: #1) w/coffee maker, full bathroom & deck with amazing views of the Turrialba Volcano and valley. Guests are also welcome to cook in the communal glass walled kitchenette and dining room. With custom Eco-Tent units coming soon! Private parking with your cabin. To get to the mountain top, a 4x4 vehicle is a must. Please follow the signs that say "Torre Alta", we are in the process of change the signs names. We are on top of a mountain-you have nature all around you, coyotes at night, sloths, tucans, lots of species of birds and and animals. We have our own local naturalist that if around is happy to answer questions, or for extra cost, nature tours. 4x4 vehicle is a must to get to our cabins on the mountain top. If you do not have a 4x4 we can make arrangement to pick you up at the bottom of the mountain and park your car For all you naturalists & ornithologist, we have our own local naturalist/bird expert who gives 1/2 day & full day tours with either your own packed lunches or we can provide breakfast-1/2 day tour, or both for full day tours at an additional cost.
